Web Development Pricing

Pacifica Technologies focuses on designing fully custom websites for your business. Since every business is different, and has distinct needs, accurate pricing can only be determined by discussing your specific requirements with you. Pricing scales vary from $1500 for a static 4 page website to much more complex websites with relational databases, flash animation, ecommerce capabilities, and more sophisticated content management needs. Nevertheless to put website pricing in perspective here is a general guideline:

Template Based Website - (our lower price option) $600 plus the template cost
You choose any template here, and provide the text you want on each page - we fully install and configure it for you. This includes two hours of consulting for minor customizations. (note - even though these are templates, they still require a considerable amount of work to be turned into a fully functional website.)

Custom Website - $1500
4 Page fully custom design. This traditionally includes categories like Home, Services, About Us, Contact.

Additional Static Pages - $150 each
Content for static pages must be provided by the client in email or digital format. Images are usually incorporated to break up the text and make the pages more visually interesting.

E-commerce Simple - $150.00 - $500
Basic store functionality using PayPal buttons and functionality. Pricing varies based on the size and complexity of the ecommerce requirements.

E-commerce - $1500.00 - $20,000.00
A fully customized shopping cart installation matched perfectly to your website. Pricing varies based on the size and complexity of the ecommerce requirements. We work with Zen Cart, OS Commerce and Cube Cart as well as many other systems. You can see a full customized shopping cart here and here.

Client Empowerment - Maintain your own site quickly and easily!

Instead of a site that you must hire a professional to make any changes to, you can have a website with a MS Word style text editor built in that lets you manage and upated your webiste pages anytime you like!

Wordpress Site - $1500 and up
We can implement Wordpress either as a fullly functional website, or as a supplement that is matched to an existing site. This approach is highly recommended!

Content Management Systems

A CMS (content management system) is a powerful application that allows a website with a lot of frequently changing and updated content to be managed by non-technical people.

Content Management System - $2500 and up.
A full website is built based on the Joomla platform. This allows the client to fully control the content of their site from a simple password protected interface. You can see examples of a Joomla CMS based site here and here.

Web Development Consulting Hourly Rate - $95 / Hour
Programming Rate - $125 / Hour

Virtual Webmaster Services

Keeping your website up to date is critical for it to be successful on the information super-highway. Now you can have your own Webmaster on call whenever you need to make updates or changes!

Virtual Webmaster Services give you expert technical resources to maintain and update your website at a discounted rate.
(Note: these hours are for maintaining or updating your site and may not be used to develop a new site)

With each new package purchased you will receive a full website review free! This review includes user friendliness, ease of navigation, search engine optimization and its layout and design.

All consulting services hours expire one year from the date of purchase.

This service is intended for standard web sites and does not include any form of custom programming (for example in PHP or ASP) without prior approval from Pacifica Technologies.
